Frequently asked questions
Straight answers on certification, warranty, delivery and installation, colors and where we install.
About us
Do you make the buildings yourselves, or resell them?
We manufacture them. Empire Carports is a manufacturer based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, not a dealer placing your order with someone else. Our own crews install them too.
What kinds of buildings do you make?
Carports, enclosed metal garages, workshops, commercial and warehouse buildings, and open pavilions and picnic shelters. Sizes are built to your dimensions rather than chosen from a stock list.
Specifications
What wind and snow load are your buildings certified for?
Our buildings are certified for 150 MPH wind and 35 PSF snow load.
